DUCOM & ANC officially signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the PCA (Philippine Coconut Authority) to facilitate the conduct of GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) throughout its supply base in Negros Oriental & Siquijor; establishment of nurseries of hybrid & other varieties of seednuts at DUCOM & ANC with total capacities of 10,000 and 25,000, respectively for both companies’ extensive replanting program; fertilizer distribution and application for coconut productivity enhancement; updating and enrollment of coconut farmers and farmworkers into the NCFRS (National Coconut Farmers Registry System) to allow access to the CFIDP (Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan) Fund.
